Today I want to talk about another fantastic piece of kit that I bought from Decathlon, which is the Decathlon Quechua Portable Folding Camping Kitchen Unit.

I’ve taken this car camping with me numerous times now, and I’m very glad that I bought it!

I don’t want to blame it on me getting closer to 50 years old, but as I get older, I don’t feel like I need to prove myself or my skills to myself or anyone else. I know that I can “rough it” with the best of them, but sometimes camping isn’t at all about roughing it so much as “smoothing it.”

The Decathlon Quechua Portable Folding Camping Kitchen Unit is a great piece to add to my camp kitchen set up for a number of reasons, especially if I’m bringing my Coleman Propane Stove, as the Quechua Kitchen Unit makes it easy for this old man to cook and prepare food while standing up, which is much friendlier to my back.

The Quechua Kitchen Unit offers an abundance of room to store cooking equipment and food on its inside shelves, protected from bugs and such behind the convenient screen doors.

The Decathlon Quechua Portable Folding Camping Kitchen Unit packs up nicely in it’s storage bag for easy conveyance and storage.

Overall, my experience with the Decathlon Quechua Portable Folding Camping Kitchen Unit is very positive, and since I bought it when it was on sale, I really can’t complain.

Are there other such units with more features? Yes, but some of those are much more expensive.

However, at the time of me writing this blog post, I noticed a different sort of camp kitchen available for 40% off at Backcountry.com called the Portable Camp Kitchen Island by Stoic that looks more geared toward food prep and washing dishes.

Honestly, if I had the extra money laying around, I’d love to buy a Portable Camp Kitchen Island by Stoic as a prep and dishwashing station to complement the more cooking and pantry oriented Decathlon Quechua Portable Folding Camping Kitchen Unit.

Together, I think I’d have one heck of a kitchen setup!
