Recently I became a brand ambassador for Jason Hunt’s family-owned and operated business, Campcraft Outdoors. What that means is that I, on the one hand, believe in Jason’s products, use them, and commit to highlighting them publicly - like I’m doing now in this blog. On the other hand, it means that Jason values me as someone who puts trust in his products and considers me an extension of his family. Stay tuned for more blog posts about my favorite Campcraft Outdoors products!

Jason’s Bushcraft Possibles Bag is absolutely fantastic and a favorite of mine. It’s big, and it opens wide. It’s perfect for those bushcraft odds and ends, but it’s also plenty big enough to function as a toiletry kit.

The Bushcraft Haversack from Campcraft Outdoors is another favorite of mine. I have LOTS of haversacks, some of which are way more expensive and have served me very well over the years, but at this price point, there’s no doubt that this is the haversack that I most recommend. Also, sometimes - let’s be honest, bushcraft gear is about a certain look, and this haversack has a look and feel that I really, really like!

The Colonel knife from Campcraft Outdoors is a BEAST! No offense to Jeff White, who makes excellent knives, but in my experience the handles are way too small for my hands, but The Colonel, made by Dan Ferguson, is absolutely perfect. It’s in the Jeff White vein of things, with the 1095 blade, convex grind, and wood handle, which I love, but the handle - oh, the handle…. The handle fits my hand so perfectly!

The Roll Top Tinder Bag from Campcraft Outdoors is a gem. Currently I’ve only got 6 or 8 sticks of fatwood in mine, but I’m a HUGE believer in having a tinder bag (or two) ready to collect stuff as I find it when I’m out and about. In fact, you wouldn’t believe how much tinder I collect on a regular basis, but I can’t help myself - if I see it, I’m compelled to collect it. This tinder bag works great, and the size is just right.
